General Surgery

The Surgery Clinic is currently capable of providing care for patients with the following conditions:

• Surgical disease of the biliary tract
• Gastro-intestinal tract disease including ano-rectal surgery
  (tumor, hemorrhoids, rectal fistulas, and pilonidal sinus disease)
• Minor surgical procedures of the skin and subcutaneous tissue
• Hernias of the abdominal wall (inguinal, ventral, and incisional)
• Gastro-intestinal endoscopy (flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy), including GI consults that might require endoscopy
• Colonoscopy screening
• Benign and breast disease
• Soft tissue tumors (lipomas, sarcomas)
• Melanoma
• Management of non-melanomatous skin cancer (squamous cell, basal cell)
