Occupational Health
Services Offered:
Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, Defense Health Agency required medical certifications (e.g., respirator fit testing medical evaluation, child care workers, Department of Transportation Commercial Driver's License examination, Ionizing Radiation Program medical evaluation), DoD/DON/DHA required Medical Surveillance evaluations (e.g., mixed-solvents, iso-cyanates, asbestos, health-care worker, blood borne pathogen), occupational injury and illness evaluations (i.e., Workers' compensation), DoD/DON post-offer/pre-employment examinations, workplace reproductive hazards evaluation and evaluation and treatment of blood borne pathogen exposure (e.g., needle stick injuries).
Services Not Offered:
No emergent treatment, Periodic Health Assessments (PHA) or surgical procedures are performed in the Occupational Health Clinic.
Who is eligible for services:
All Active Duty service members are eligible for care at the Occupational Health. General Schedule, Wage Grade and some Contractors (contingent upon contract language) are also eligible for care. Non-appropriated fund employees are eligible for a one-time visit for evaluation of occupational injury or illness.
