Women's Health & Pregnancy
Women's health refers to health issues that are unique to women, including:
- Conditions of the female organs.
Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.
Women's Health Services
The Naval Health Clinic Lemoore OB/GYN clinic provides services for obstetrics (OB/pregnancy) and gynecological (GYN) concerns.
Please contact your primary care (Hornet Health or Medical Home Port) for annual pap test.
Once you have a confirmed pregnancy test the Naval Health Clinic Lemoore OB/Gyn Clinic will submit a referral for civilian obstetric care.
- If you have TRICARE Prime as your TRICARE plan, your referral will be sent to TRICARE for authorization and you will be authorized to a civilian OB for your obstetric care. The referral and authorization process can take 5-10 business days to complete.
- If you have TRICARE Select as your plan, you will not need an authorization from TRICARE. You will be contacted by NHCL Referral Management, they will offer to send the referral to the OB of your choice or provide you a copy of the referral to take to your initial OB appointment. There may be deductibles, copays and cost shares related to obtaining care with a TRICARE Provider
- Download, print and save this NHCL Maternity Care document with more details about TRICARE and the referrals process.
