Operational Forces Medical Liaison

Purpose

The Operational Forces Medical Liaison Services, locally known as Fleet Liaison, is established to coordinate medical support to the operational forces.

Mission

The primary mission of this facility is to provide quality healthcare for the men and women of the uniformed services. In efforts to accomplish this mission, the special needs of the operational forces must be met and maintained in as high a state of medical readiness as possible. These needs include appointment request and notification via electronic message traffic, medical information and status reports of crew members, and education and assistance for operational forces assigned to this facility for treatment.

Medical Assistance

The Fleet Liaison will serve as the single point and interface between this facility and the Medical and Dental Department Representatives of the operational forces.
